Occupancy & Motion Sensors

Room and Desk Occupancy Sensors for Smart Buildings

Sensors that tell a building whether a room or a desk is in use. Facility teams use the data to plan space, run meeting room and desk booking, and switch lighting and air conditioning off when nobody is there.

  • Three models: Wi-Fi room sensor, battery-powered desk sensor, and room sensor with built-in relays
  • 60GHz radar picks up micro-motion, so people sitting still are still detected
  • PT-300W sends data to the cloud over MQTT, including AWS
  • PT-50BM runs up to 2 years on a single CR2032 battery
Choosing a model

Choose by the space and how you use the data

For meeting rooms and open areas whose occupancy data goes to a building system or the cloud, choose the PT-300W. To see which desks are in use, choose the battery-powered PT-50BM. To switch lights or air conditioning directly without a network, choose the PT-302 with its built-in relays.

  • Detects Micro-Motion
  • Wi-Fi and MQTT to the Cloud
  • Up to 2-Year Battery Life
  • Built-In Relay Output
Key features

What you get with ASUKA occupancy sensors

Reliable occupancy data that building systems can act on.

  1. 01

    Detects People Who Sit Still

The 60GHz radar in the PT-300W and PT-302 picks up micro-motion and tells whether a person is approaching or moving away, so a room is not marked empty while someone is working quietly.

  2. 02

    Data Straight to the Cloud

The PT-300W sends occupancy data over Wi-Fi to your cloud platform using MQTT, including AWS and private MQTT brokers. Setup is done over Bluetooth.

  3. 03

    Fits on Every Desk

The PT-50BM measures 38 × 37 × 13.6 mm, attaches with adhesive, and runs up to two years on a single CR2032 battery.

  4. 04

    Controls Equipment Without a Network

The PT-302 has two built-in relays (10 A at 250 VAC / 30 VDC each) that switch lights, fans or air conditioning directly, with a hold time adjustable from 1 to 30 minutes.

  5. 05

    Ceiling or Wall Mounting

The PT-300W and PT-302 mount on the ceiling or the wall.
